Hi I'm Taz and I am training to be a Guide Dog.  I was born in June 2017 and named after Dr William Tasman, who was a really awesome doctor.

The doctors and staff at Mid Atlantic Retina fundraised for 18 months to sponsor my training so I am super excited to share my experiences with everyone.

I am living in Valdosta, Georgia with my puppy raisers, Sydney and Ian where I am learning about the big world beyond the front door.  I visit lots of public places so I can experience different sights and sounds while wearing my bright puppy coat identifying me as a future service dog.  I am making lots of progress and working hard.

I also get to have some time off for fun! My favorites so far have been playing in the snow and visiting the beach.
