Research & Clinical Trials
The specialists of Mid Atlantic Retina continue to be in the forefront with their research efforts and in the development of major innovations in retina care. We have been principal investigators of nearly all the major clinical trails in retina, and for several of our trials, we are the only center involved nationwide. Mid Atlantic Retina participates in many clinical trials investigating new forms of treatment for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and a variety of other retinal conditions.
